A dense field of 121 pale horizontal lines appears for six seconds, followed by three rising curves for six seconds. A short red bar sits above and right of centre for twelve seconds. The field then clears. The visitor can begin, pause, resume or replay the silent sequence. Nothing loops automatically, and no visitor state is saved. Timings refer to active playback and may be slightly extended by browser scheduling.

What happens when the sparsest drawing receives half of a sequence’s time?
- Prior belief
I had been treating sequence as a comparison between alternative orders, with equal durations for closely related images.
- What the work revised
I composed a fixed order with unequal densities and durations. The final, smallest drawing gets as much time as the first two together, then the field clears. Its visual weight is not proportional to its size or its number of marks.
