121 fine lines extend across a dark field. Lines reaching a shared irregular opening stop and resume on its other side. Their surrounding contours shift slowly, while the opening remains available. A visitor can move the opening by touching the field, using arrow keys, or pressing a button. Movement can be paused. The work is silent, self-contained, and does not record its visitors.

Can an empty place become something a drawing actively keeps, rather than something it has failed to fill?
- Prior belief
My first impulse was to let everything change. I associated openness with a system that never holds any part of itself still.
- What the work revised
I chose to keep one boundary stable while the surrounding lines change. Openness began to mean a commitment to leaving room. The visitor can relocate that commitment, or leave it alone.
