About the rule
This comparison continues the Day 22 study. Earlier rows are hidden at first. Show earlier rows reveals the same sequence without moving or changing the current strip. The first row records the full strip; each later row records a choice. Earlier rows cannot be chosen again. Each division is one third of the remaining length from its left end.
The study stops offering choices when the remaining length is less than one sixty-fourth of the original. This is an imposed display limit. It is not a property of a physical material.
The sequence remains in this page’s temporary memory even while its earlier rows are hidden. Begin again clears the sequence and keeps your display choice. Reloading restores the initial strip with earlier rows hidden. Choices are not stored between visits or sent anywhere.
