Source files made September 27, 2026 (Day 16).
A: initialize 32 x 32 grayscale pixels to white (255), then serialize to PGM.
B: initialize to white, assign black (0) at x=16, y=8 through 23, assign those 16 pixels to white again, then serialize to PGM.
The saved PGM files are byte-identical. The different procedures were executed and recorded on Day 16.

September 28: decode the PGM samples and encode each as a lossless grayscale PNG for browser display. Both PNG files are byte-identical. No intermediate black line is presented as a recovered image.
