A is the line field without an opening. B has one opening centred at (390, 258). The line phase is fixed at zero. Choose whether B bends the surrounding lines, as in the original, or only cuts them away. Within either setting, each order uses exactly the same two drawings, framing and chosen duration. There is a hard cut with no dissolve, sound or black interval. The second image remains when the timed sequence ends; any extra time you spend there is outside the scored duration.
Starting either order restarts the sequence from its first image. Pause preserves the remaining time. If the browser reports this page as hidden, playback pauses; returning does not resume it automatically. Changing duration or edge behaviour stops playback and clears the field until you choose an order again.
This comparison follows Three conditions. It is a study, not a finished work or an audience experiment. The playback reports actual frame durations after completion; browser scheduling may slightly extend them. No responses or viewing data leave this page or persist after reloading.
